Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. London Epoxy just finished my floor and I honestly can’t believe how good it looks. I went in expecting it to be nice, but it turned out even better than I expected—really pleased with the final result. What stood out most was how helpful they were from start to finish. They gave me proper advice (not just a quick sales pitch) and helped me pick the colours that would suit my place best. I was a bit unsure at first, but their recommendations made it so much easier, and I’m glad I went with their suggestions. They were also really friendly and easy to talk to, and the whole job was handled efficiently. It didn’t feel like it dragged on at all—they got it done quickly and everything was left tidy. Overall, I’m very happy with what they’ve done, and I’d definitely recommend London Epoxy to anyone thinking about an epoxy floor.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Could not be happier with our new epoxy floor! They transformed our tired, messy concrete floor into something amazing. The team was on time, very tidy, explained everything clearly, and worked really hard. They prepped everything perfectly, fixed all the small cracks, and applied the coating beautifully — no bubbles, no marks, totally smooth. It’s been 3 months now, heavy use, cars driven on it, spills, dirt — and it still looks brand new. It’s 100% waterproof, stain-resistant, and so simple to mop. Makes the whole space brighter and cleaner. If you want a strong, long-lasting floor that looks incredible, this is the company to use. 10/10!

Epoxy Flooring Training - Your Questions Answered

What is epoxy flooring?

Epoxy flooring is a resin based coating system applied over concrete floors. It combines a primer, base coat, and topcoat to create a seamless, hard wearing surface. It's used in garages, warehouses, commercial kitchens, and showrooms — and is one of the fastest-growing trades in the UK flooring industry.

How long does it take to learn epoxy floor installation?

The core epoxy installation workflow — surface preparation, priming, mixing, application, and finishing — can be learned in a 2-day hands-on course. Consistent results on real jobs come with supervised practice and experience across different floor conditions.

What is the difference between epoxy and resin flooring?

Epoxy is a type of resin flooring. Resin flooring covers multiple systems — epoxy, polyurethane, and MMA. Epoxy is the most widely installed system for commercial and domestic floors due to its durability, chemical resistance, and decorative finishes including metallic epoxy and flake systems.

Why does epoxy flooring fail?

Most epoxy floor failures come down to three things — poor surface preparation, moisture in the substrate, and incorrect mixing ratios. Professional epoxy flooring training teaches you how to identify and fix these problems before they cost you a job.

Can you start an epoxy flooring business after a short course?

Yes — and many of our students do exactly that. Our 2-day epoxy flooring course covers installation technique, tools, materials, and supplier guidance. It gives you the practical foundation to start taking on domestic and commercial jobs straight after training.
